The 2008 Guinness Autumn Series
Ireland v New Zealand
Saturday 15th November 2008
Croke Park
Following hugely disappointing World Cup and Six Nation’s campaigns, the IRFU bade farewell to Coach Eddie O’Sullivan and looked towards Club Rugby for the man to take them into a new era. That man was Munster’s double Heineken Cup winning Coach Declan Kidney, and he starts the long road to the 2011 World Cup with these three Autumn Tests against Canada, New Zealand and Argentina. The pick of course, is this clash against the biggest draw in World Rugby and Kidney will have faced no tougher test. So, can the new man make his mark in only his second game in charge, or will the legendary All Blacks continue their long unbeaten run against the Irish?
